About the role

THE ROLE
We are looking for a switched-on marketing coordinator to join our small but dynamic team. This is an opportunity to really expand your expertise across all facets of marketing. We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is energetic, keen to learn and willing to go the extra mile!

  • Support the business through the successful coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, initiatives and activities.
  • Brainstorm and develop creative content for our social media channels & assist with scheduling.
  • Manage social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook.
  • Manage paid media campaigns across socials and Google ads (support provided).
  • Monitor & report on data and insights to recognise opportunities for improvement & growth.
  • Develop your copywriting skills across all collateral, including but not limited to social media copy, podcast descriptions and external communication material (this is a significant part of the role).
  • Work with key stakeholders to assist in the execution of internal and external communications.
  • Ongoing management of our Google Ads Grant account (training provided).
  • Ongoing management of the Coda website.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in implementing SEO techniques to optimise channels (support provided).
  • Assist with the preparation and recording of podcasts and vodcasts as required. This includes (but is not limited to) editing the audio and video files, preparing content and writing podcast descriptions.
  • Assist in creating EDM marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with general marketing administration duties including content migration to the Coda website and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • A savvy marketer in the making, you are well-versed in social media channels and are hungry to learn as much as possible!
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, you would have a great eye for detail and take an immense pride in your work.
  • A keen interest in the marketing space, keeping your finger on the pulse and an eye on opportunities.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience (if you have recently graduated and feel that you are the right fit for the role – we would still like to hear from you!)
  • Solutions focused and proactive with a creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts.
  • Able to work well alone, but also as a member of a highly committed team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proof of Tertiary education in marketing, communications, digital marketing or other relevant education.
  • Must have experience with social media platforms (specifically Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & Instagram).
  • If you have experience with WordPress, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, YouTube, MailChimp or Google Ads please let us know upon application.
  • Valid Australian working rights.

 

THE OFFER

  • We will provide full training and support.
  • Flexible work environment – work from home (you will be required to attend in-person meetings).
  • 3 days per week (with potential to increase), hours spread across Monday-Friday.
  • 60-75K + super (pro rata) depending on experience.
  • 6-month contract with the view of ongoing work.
  • You will be joining a small, innovative, and forward-thinking team, with the ability to make a real difference and shape your role.
