About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be developing programs and initiatives to improve the education and employment outcomes of our customers. In collaboration with a range of stakeholders, you will work towards increasing Hume’s understanding of local employment needs, opportunities, and pathways, ensuring our customers can effectively access employment, education and training opportunities.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Working with Hume’s multi-traders and other partners to create positive economic and education outcomes for customers
  • Driving and managing the development and delivery of employment/ training programs based on evidence of what works
  • Identifying and seeking funding opportunities to support ongoing operations and to strengthen and grow Hume’s employment and training activities
  • Collecting, storing, and analysing program data in economic and education domains to measure outcomes
  • Building networks and partnerships with employers, government, funding bodies and education services to develop and deliver programs
  • Maintaining knowledge and adhering to relevant legislation, guidelines and workplace policies

ABOUT YOU

You are a collaborator with demonstrated and evidenced success in developing and delivering programs in the education, employment or training space. You will have a natural ability to build and maintain trust and can demonstrate an organised and methodical approach in recording and monitoring outputs.

To be successful in this role you will need to address the following selection criteria;

  • Experience in program or project development and delivery in a similar role
  • Sound understanding of the employment and education/training/skills sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a collaborative framework to achieve positive customer outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience building and utilising networks and partnerships to achieve outcomes
  • Relevant Community Development or Social Sciences or equivalent qualification

We need you if you love our values, have a passion to learn and help others, are self-motivated and pride yourself on being customer focused and a team player. It is essential that you are able to communicate clearly in all formats with excellent report writing skills. You will also need to possess a current NSW driver’s license and have access to a fully insured vehicle for work.

As a community housing provider, Hume regularly engages with and provides face to face services to customers in the community, and these roles require full COVID-19 vaccination status.
