Organisation Name : Humpty Dumpty Foundation

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation was established 30 years ago with a simple mission – to raise money to purchase vital and life-saving medical equipment for children and babies in hospital.

Humpty provides medical equipment to Paediatric Wards, Neonatal Units, Maternity and Emergency Departments for more than 450 hospitals and health services across Australia.

Humpty’s equipment Wish List provides tangible outcomes and provide donors with confidence that donations directly support frontline clinician teams in caring for their patients. 

The Foundation hosts numerous events throughout the year which encourages community attendance and fundraising initiatives including the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn.

About the role

  • Full time (4 days per week in office)

This role is pivotal within the Fundraising and Partnerships team and will be responsible in developing, implementing, and managing a community fundraising strategy that will support revenue growth, donor acquisition and donor journeys.

Working as part of a small but highly collaborative team you will have the opportunity to develop and execute new fundraising ideas and initiatives and will be results orientated. The responsibility of this role will be to plan and execute a range of fundraising programs including peer-to-peer, third party, appeals and the Foundation’s own high profile community events.

This role will also work closely with the Marketing and Communication team to ensure targeted communication and engagement aligns to the fundraising strategy.

You are a brilliant communicator with experience in sales, fundraising and CRM’s and will have a business mind and a passion to make a difference within the community.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing community fundraising and engagement strategies within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven record in fundraising, including a strong working knowledge of donor segmentation and donor journeys.
  • You will have proven experience in Salesforce NFPSP and be tech-savvy with high confidence in using Office365, document sharing and cloud storage.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships with donors and suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop meaningful conversation with donors both face to face and digitally.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • High level attention to detail and self-motivated, always looking for improvements while creating solutions to day-to day challenges.
