About the role
The School Council and Headmaster are in the process of finalising a new strategic plan for 2030 which will articulate the future direction of Melbourne Grammar School, and, as such, must be intentionally ambitious, capturing the combined desires and intentions of the School community. The School now seeks a new Senior Philanthropy Manager who will work within the Development team to plan, develop and implement the School’s giving program within the context of this new strategic framework. This role will help foster the culture of giving at Melbourne Grammar with particular focus on major giving supported by annual and regular giving, and special appeals.
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate experience in approaching major and mid-level potential donors, with a proven track record of success in achieving fundraising goals, ideally gained in the education sector. Your sound communication and interpersonal skills will be coupled with your ability to liaise, consult with and influence colleagues and volunteers at all levels.
