About the organisation

Organisation Name : Chain Reaction Foundation

Chain Reaction Foundation was founded in 2002 as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee to encourage the development of social cohesion and inclusion both nationally and locally. Through participatory research, we developed Learning Ground, a wellbeing and engagement centre in Mt Druitt that is committed to working with disconnected youth from all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds to create stronger social cohesion in Australia. This program has now been expanded into schools as Learning Ground in Schools (LGiS), an academically proven program to re-engage youth in education.
