About the organisation
Nagambie Healthcare Inc (NHC) is a community owned, not-for-profit health facility which has been delivering services to its community since 1929. NHC delivers acute, subacute, community, palliative and aged care services to a catchment area of 3,302 square kilometres and serves a predominantly aging farming community. About the role
CEO/DON
The CEO/DON has overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality, well co-ordinated and efficient healthcare services to meet the healthcare needs of the community. The CEO/DON is responsible and accountable to the Board for managing and directing the organisation to achieve the objectives of NHC. You will ensure the optimum use of financial and human resources and organise and control major functions relating to the operations and administration of the organisation.
To meet the requirements of the role you will be a Division One nurse registered with AHPRA and relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications and substantial and proven experience in the leadership and management of a small to medium sized health service. A background in health service management, development and change management at a senior level would be advantageous. Knowledge of funding and current government policy and direction of acute, aged residential, community and primary health care services are also required for this position.
