About the role
In October 2018, Monash launched its most ambitious fundraising campaign with a bold promise to Change It. For Good. The University now seeks a new Chief Philanthropy Officer who will take strategic and operational responsibility for the renewal and refresh of the campaign, generating unprecedented levels of income whilst building and maintaining the University’s diverse donor community. With leadership of their high -performing development team, the successful candidate will continue to drive and maintain a positive working culture demonstrative of the University’s institutional values.
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive leadership experience in strategic philanthropy program management gained in a higher education or equally complex setting. A demonstrable track record in best practice cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors giving at the 7 figure + level, together with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams to deliver service excellence and continuous improvement will be fundamental.
