About the role
Reporting to the Board Diversity Manager, this role will support the implementation of a range of member facing board diversity campaign initiatives.
You will develop, enhance, and grow relationships with AICD’s partners, stakeholders and members to further the AICD’s board diversity agenda through strong co-ordination and collaboration across all aspects of program planning, resourcing and delivery. You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach to developing campaign content, being able to effectively manage stakeholders, prioritise competing demands and clearly articulate program objectives. You will also lead the implementation of the AICD’s second Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
About your experience
To be considered for this role you will have:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in delivering communication projects or co-ordination of campaigns
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and attention to detail
- A strong ability to manage and build successful stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, exercising discretion and diplomacy
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including report writing
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data, information and metrics and provide insights
- Highly developed time management and organisation skills, with an ability prioritise competing demands
- A collaborative approach to teamwork, proactively supporting colleagues, being agile and resolving issues promptly.
Whilst not essential, a passion for diversity and inclusion, including experience in delivering Reconciliation Action Plans and a background in Marketing and/or Communication would be advantageous, as would experience working in member-based organisations.
