About the organisation
The Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Inc. (also known as Foundation House) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1987 to advance the health, wellbeing and human rights of people of refugee backgrounds who have experienced torture or other traumatic events. Foundation House is a state-wide agency offering services in metropolitan, regional and rural areas, with head office based in Brunswick and metropolitan regional offices in Dallas, Sunshine, Dandenong and Ringwood.
About the role
The position operates as a trusted advisor to the business providing HR advice, support and coaching to managers and employees in relation to all aspects of the employment lifecycle. The HR Advisor is the primary contact for day-to-day HR support and requires collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute HR expertise. The position also supports employee surveys and tracking the annual operational calendar of HR including performance reviews, trainings, and maintenance of HR registers.
About you
You have 3 to 4 years of HR generalist experience with a key focus on Employee Relations. You are a self-starter and passionate about creating a positive impact. You have good time management skills and ability to work with others in a collaborative manner.

Salary and benefits
We offer a gross annual salary of $88,703 + super + 17.5% leave loading (pro-rata). Other benefits include salary packaging up to $18,550, a range of flexible working options, a highly supportive team environment, excellent training and development opportunities, and onsite parking.
