About the program

Navigator is a program funded by state government which aims to support disengaged learners aged 12 to 17 years old to re-engage with an education or training pathway. 

Jesuit Social Services is delivering Navigator in the North Eastern Melbourne area in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency and will be working closely with local schools and services and the regional Department of Education and Training office.

About the role

An exciting, full time opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to take on a case work role with this initiative in Inner East Melbourne. 

This role will be responsible for providing individually tailored support to disengaged learners within the context of their families, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across a range of sectors. 

The Navigator Inner East team is based in Brunswick with some flexibility to hot-desk from partner agencies across northern metropolitan Melbourne.

A base salary of $74,179 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging is offered, together with ongoing professional and career development.
