The Organisation

Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) is the peak national gynaecological cancer research organisation in Australia and New Zealand, their purpose to improve outcomes and quality of life for women through research into the causes, prevention and treatments of gynaecological cancer.  WomenCan grew from the merger of the Women’s Cancer Foundation with ANZGOG in 2016, aiming to enable women with a gynaecological cancer to live better and live longer.

The Role

Reporting into the Fundraising and Development Manager and working within a close knit, fast paced team, your main purpose will be to continue to drive corporate funding that supports ANZGOG’s research, prevention and education programs.  You will build and contribute to existing partnership activities, develop new fundraising opportunities, secure sponsorships and establish and nurture supporting events.  Additionally, you will:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of WomenCan’s signature fundraising campaigns
  • Manage and further develop established partner programs
  • Develop activity that will maximise outcomes by reaching KPI’s that meet projections, deadlines, budgets and reporting
  • Engage in and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder rapport
  • Oversee event and supplier contracts and sponsor agreements

  
Skills Required

You have experience in campaign development and coordination, coupled with event and stakeholder development skills. Ideally your experience is in corporate sponsorship or fundraising. Your relationship management, ability to identify growth opportunities, corporate relations and communication skills will be highly regarded. Additionally, you have:

  • Tertiary qualification related to fundraising, marketing or communications is desirable
  • Relevant experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships and event delivery
  • Exceptional time management and coordination in a deadline driven environment
  • CRM experience on Raisers Edge and Funraisin (or similar) highly desirable
  • You are passionate, empathetic and motivated to enable women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer to live better and live longer
