Star Health is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, who is committed to providing a high standard of service delivery and passionate about working within the community mental health field.

Our Recovery Practitioners in the Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response program provide a service that aims to enhance quality of life, build life skills and ensure access to both community mental health and broader health and community services.

With a focus on client service delivery through facilitative and direct care engagement, you will have the opportunity to support people in achieving their goals.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • A professional qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in providing recovery-oriented support to consumers experiencing mental health challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent knowledge of Partnering with consumers and their families/support networks
  • A clear understanding of strengths-based approaches in mental health
