We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Grants Officer to join the Red Nose team!

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, the Grants Officer will lead the development and implementation of the trusts and foundations strategy. This is a varied and interesting role, with lots of opportunity for growth. A typical day could include:
- Identifying, developing and nurturing relationships with trusts and foundations and other funding bodies
- Working with the team to understand funding needs and priorities to create strong applications for funding and reports/acquittals
- Developing impactful cases for support and create inspiring and engaging proposals and applications to secure funding
- Delving deep into prospect research identify new opportunities for support
We are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience in fundraising in a similar role
- Experience of grant writing, including preparing applications for submission and preparation of subsequent reports and acquittals
- Proven ability to secure income through the development of cases for support and compelling proposals
- Experience completing prospect research to identify philanthropic funding opportunities and networks
- Experience in cultivating relationships with Trusts and Foundations and other grant makers
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse range of stakeholders
- Exceptional writing skills, particularly in grant applications, fund proposals, commercial tenders or similar
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability to use a customer relationship management system
