The Organisation:
Based in the Eastern suburbs, the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria – affectionately known as “Vinnies” – is one of the most well recognised, highly regarded and best loved charitable organisations.

 

For over 160 years in Australia Vinnies has been recognised for offering a “hand up” to people in need while respecting their dignity and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny. The Role:
Nationally, Vinnies’ major annual fundraising event is the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, now in its 14th year in Victoria. You will be responsible for managing and executing this initiative.

 

With the support of a strong Fundraising team and also working closely with the Communications team, your focus will be on managing the attraction of C-suite participants and the fundraising journey.  It also involves being the first point of contact for CEOs participating in the Sleepout, as well as any related follow-up events that involve the CEOs.

 

Specifically, you will be required to:
  • manage the participant attraction campaign for the event
  • manage the relationships with event sponsors
  • prepare the strategy for the CEO Sleepout event and post-implementation review, including strategic recommendations following the event

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • relationship/account management experience at a senior level
  • professional demeanour and excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to deal with CEOs, C-suite, and High-Net-Worth individuals
  • excellent organisational and project management skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
In addition, you are likely to be degree qualified and will be required to undertake a Police Check.

This role is a full-time, permanent position, based in Box Hill and with Working From Home options. An attractive salary package is on offer, along with NFP salary packaging.
