An exciting opportunity currently exists for a passionate, result’s driven, highly organized and motivated professional to join the Austin Health Foundations’ Partnership Team.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, the Community Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting community fundraising activities, initiatives and events to increase and enhance supporter engagement and revenue for the Foundation.

The role is responsible for the development, implementation and growth of the community fundraising and events portfolio inclusive of mass participation fundraising events, digital fundraising, in-celebration coupled with providing corporate partnership business development support and account management.

The Community Fundraising Coordinator will also be responsible for providing support to the Partnerships Portfolio and across the Foundation as required.

 

 

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

  • Relevant Degree qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Events, Sales or related field with at least 2 years’ experience in a fundraising, marketing, community services or events role in the not-for-profit sector and/or commercial sector
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines, manage a wide-ranging workload with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in writing fundraising/marketing communications
  • Proven outstanding relationship management capabilities across a broad range of stakeholders including community supporters, corporates and suppliers
  • Budget management with demonstrated results in achieving revenue and expenditure targets
  • Innovative, growth and continuous improvement mindset with a positive, flexible and solution focused attitude
  • Positive and collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Advanced experience in MS Office with a good working knowledge of CRMs
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Flexibility and availability to work outside of standard working hours and on weekends (as required)
