CatholicCare Victoria delivers excellence in a broad range of child, family and youth services, family relationship services, school counselling and pastoral care services, social housing, homelessness services (crisis, transitional and outreach), employment and advocacy services across dozens of office locations, delivery sites and outreach locations throughout Victoria.
Reporting to the Group Director, Community Engagement, this position will lead the development of a fundraising strategy to achieve financial targets to support our mission. This hands-on role will manage a team to build and deliver on several fundraising channels including major gifts, individual giving, trusts and foundations, bequests and corporate partnerships. Building on a track record of growth and success, the Head of Fundraising will be responsible for scoping, implementing, monitoring and continuous improvement across all aspects of donor engagement, stewardship and development. You will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders of CatholicCare Victoria to achieve outcomes, income growth and impact.
About YOU
- An experienced fundraising leader with demonstrated success in growing fundraising results, building capability and driving change
- Motivated, committed and outcomes-focused with an ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
- A compelling storyteller to engage the hearts and minds of donors along the philanthropic journey, with the ability and confidence to make sophisticated ‘Asks’
- Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Australia plus understanding of the systems that underpin best-practice fundraising
- Strong alignment to CCV’s guiding principles – Human Dignity, Solidarity, Subsidiarity, Equity and Respect
