Thorne Harbour Health is an LGBTI community-controlled organisation, governed by our members, and working for our sex, sexuality and gender diverse communities. We aim to improve the health, social and emotional wellbeing of LGBTI communities and those living with or affected by HIV, with a particular emphasis on bringing the HIV and AIDS epidemic to an end.

About the role

The Health Promotion, Policy and Communications Program (HPPC) delivers a range of preventative and health promotion strategies targeting LGBTI communities and people living with HIV. The framework of our education work is a combination of adult and peer education, health promotion, social marketing, community development, and cultural intervention.
The new LGBTI Mental Health & Wellbeing Policy Analyst will contribute to that work with a particular focus on policy analysis, strategy, and development aimed at improving mental health outcomes for LGBTI people. This collaborative role will regularly work in consultation with community stakeholders to inform their policy work.
