About the role

  • Ongoing full-time vacancy. 35 hours per week.
  • Location: Based within our existing offices in the Southern Region (Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, or Bathurst). Hybrid working options are available.
  • Clerk Grade 9/10. Base salary $113,343 p.a. to $124,901 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

About the team

The Estate Planning and Administration division provides trustee services including Wills and estate planning, estate administration, trusts and power of attorney services.

 

The Wills and Estate Planning team provides a fully accredited Will preparation service, writing more than 13,000 Wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents each year, helping customers to plan ahead and document their last wishes.

 

About the role

The role is responsible for effectively leading a high-performing regional team to deliver professional, high quality and timely Wills and Estate Planning services to the NSW community.

 

The role is responsible for managing the teams’ performance, ensuring services meet the needs of customers, there is growth in increasing our market share and the services that are delivered are financially sustainable.

You are a leader. You will have experience in managing teams spread across large geographic locations and effectively allocating available resources within teams to meet competing priorities, and a proven ability and commitment to supporting staff. You will be a motivated leader responsible for proactively shaping a dynamic team culture to build brand reputation, drive improved business results delivering high quality and professional services.

 

You are results driven, can work independently and take ownership of initiatives. You can effectively lead and implement change at a strategic and operational level. You put strategy into actions that are engaging and are proven to deliver outcomes that are both progressive and positive to achieve the divisions objectives and goals.
 

You are a strategic thinker. You can think ahead to what is likely to inform and influence decision-making and identify how long-term modelling can support better outcomes for our customers. You are able to identify customer pain points and provide innovative solutions to issues in accordance with organisational objectives and customer service standards.

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant discipline or industry, such as legal, finance, professional services, and/or government. 
  • Willingness to obtain accreditation in Will making, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents. 
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel across NSW as required. 
  • Available to work after hours and weekends as required. 
  • Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status and able to provide acceptable proof.
