About the role
Feros Care Residential Villages are commencing a period of change and are excited to be hiring for two Clinical Leads to support its Aged Care Residential Villages, one based in Bangalow and one based in Kingscliff (Wommin Bay) Northern NSW.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader of Clinical Care teams, who is engaging and encouraging towards their teams to provide the highest standards of Residential Care.
The Clinical Lead will provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination in the clinical management of residents, ensuring quality standards are met. The role is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivery of care and services in all areas of activities of daily living, in accordance with resident’s identified needs and preferences.
As the Clinical Lead you will:
- Provide overall leadership and management to the care team, and ensure care delivered is evidence based, safe and high quality
- Facilitate up to date employee training and education in line with organisational learning and development policies and procedures
- Assist residents to participate in the development and implementation of an individual designed management plan
- Be the lead in delivering culturally safe person-centered care; working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
About You:
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
- Vaccine Certification in accordance with legislative requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in aged care or primary and community care
- Further study in palliative care, wound care, dementia care or related field is desirable
