About the role
Pivotal to achieving its mission are the strong relationships and the philanthropic support from Wenona’s donor community, given through the Wenona Foundation. Wenona now seeks a Director of Philanthropy to develop & implement effective strategies for creating and maintaining fundraising initiatives for Wenona and to maintain philanthropic relationships within the wider Wenona community.
To be successful in the role, you will present a strong track record in developing and implementing philanthropy programs, coupled with the ability to cultivate and secure major philanthropic gifts, gained in an educational or broader not for profit environment. The ability to advocate for philanthropic support of the School to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders will be fundamental. An alignment with the School’s vision and its values of courage, strength, grace, wisdom and kindness will be vital.
