The GP Practice at South Melbourne has been operating since 2013 under Star Health, and previously as Inner South Community Health.
It is a busy service, with a diverse client group. The majority of our clients are bulk billed and have complex social and health needs.
Several of our GPs have interests in addiction medicine and mental health and are MATOD trained.
The practice is closely linked to other community services in the area including Launch Housing (crisis accommodation service), St Kilda Road Clinic (community mental health service), Access Health and First Steps (AOD service).

Star Health also has a range of internal services and programs for our clients, including, dental services, Allied Health, AOD, Mental Health and other community-based programs.
For GPs that have a particular interest in addiction medicine and would like to work across services, we can arrange shared employment with our partner organisations, First Steps and Access H ealth.

Ideally, you will possess:

• Current AHPRA registration-GP
• Experience in working with complex clients preferred, such as addiction medicine (MATOD), mental health, chronic conditions management, sexual health.
