Oral Health Therapist with Adult Scope

Banyule Community Health Dental Team requires the services of an Oral Health Therapist who can work Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The role involves both working in the clinic and in the Smile Squad Van.

The successful applicant must demonstrate they are able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to community-based dental practice.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

• Quality dental services including preventative, emergency and general direct patient care and oral health education

The key skills required for this role include:

• Community health experience
• Use of Titanium Client Database Management Software
• OHT with the Adult scope of practice (preferred)
• Radiation Licence for OPG and lateral Ceph
