The Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) is looking for an experienced, diligent and energetic professional to provide administrative services and support to RIAA’s growing Working Groups Program.

As a member of a dynamic team, this position is a great opportunity to be part of a team ensuring RIAA delivers on developing and supporting the many working groups and committees for members to drive impactful work in areas of key interest and relevance to responsible investment and sustainable finance. These groups currently include, among others:

  • Human Rights Working Group
  • First Nations Peoples’ Rights Working Group
  • Nature Working Group
  • Impact Management and Measurement Community of Practice
  • Financial Adviser Forum

 

You will work closely with the Program Manager and other RIAA team members. Where the time fraction allows, you will also provide executive support to the CEO.

The ideal candidate has a passion for administrative systems and processes that support teams to function well. You thrive in a complex and fast-moving organisational setting.  You are very organised, can manage multiple functions and tasks simultaneously, are outcomes-focused and have a good ability to get things done.

You will have expertise in:

  • Providing high quality administrative and secretarial services
  • Ability to multitask and work with others to meet deadlines
  • Ability to synthesise information, notetaker for meetings on complex issues and draft high-quality business documents such as minutes, emails and notices
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior colleagues and contacts

You will demonstrate an:

  • Impeccable track record as an administrative officer or administrative assistant
  • Exceptional teamwork and commitment to respectful and inclusive work culture
  • Interest in responsible investment
