Registered Nurse (Division 1)

Village Glen Retirement Living, Capel Sound has part-time positions available for Division 1 RN’s to join our nursing team. Your duties would include responding in to our emergency call system, as well as providing non-emergency care in both our state-of-the-art clinic and in the community setting.

The shifts being offered:

• Include day and afternoon shifts Wednesday through to Sunday
• Day shifts from 7.00 a.m. – 3.15 p.m.
• Afternoon shifts – from 3.00 p.m. – 10.15 p.m.

You will have the stability of set days rather than an ever-changing roster but still have the ability to swap within our supportive team for those unavoidable occasions that arise. Ideally, you would also be available to cover extra shifts for personal and annual leave within the dedicated team of nurses when possible.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, acute and chronic wound care experience, excellent assessment and communication skills and computer literacy. A current drivers license is essential, as is RN qualifications with at least 2 years post registration experience.
