SHARC is looking for Board Director(s)
Introduction | SHARC – The Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC) is a lived experience led and run organisation. SHARC works with families, young people and adults to provide rehabilitation, housing, education, advocacy and family supports.
All our programs are significantly supported by volunteers.
SHARC’s programs and services include:
- Residential Peer Programs (RPP)
- Family Drug & Gambling Help (FDGH)
- Peer Projects
- Association of Participating Service Users (APSU)
About the role
Board Director(s)
SHARC is currently seeking to recruit new volunteer Board members. The appointment is for a three year term and may be renewed. The role carries the typical expectations of an NFP board member in providing strategic direction and governance to our agency.
In addition to these core functions, SHARC is seeking Directors from a range of communities and intersections with specific skills and experience in legal issues, financial management, risk and compliance, marketing and communications, government and public policy.
