Juno works with women and gender diverse people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs who are experiencing homelessness and family violence.
Formerly known as WISHIN (Women’s Information Housing and Support in the North), Juno has a long history of partnering with women to help them make lasting change in their lives.
With a primary role in supporting women and their children in crisis by finding secure accommodation and access to resources, Juno also supports them to find and move into long term housing and to access other specialised support services.

The position
The Juno Board are seeking to appoint a strategic and future focused Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and continue its long history of partnering with women to help them make lasting change in their lives. This is an inclusive leadership opportunity to oversee the next stage in Juno’s strategic journey and continue to deliver service excellence across an extended range of services.
Reporting to the Board and aligning with Juno’s purpose and values, you will possess exceptional people skills and be an influential and respectful voice, fostering collaborative relationships in sector relevant forums. You will be a visionary and empowering leader able to complement and lead a collaborative, committed and skilled executive team with a focus on outcomes and impact.
As a proactive and strategic leader, you will have a successful track record of leading services and may offer expertise in family violence, violence against women services, health promotion, and primary prevention programs or broader social services delivery. Excellent stakeholder management skills and organisational leadership capability from a governance perspective are expected, along with the ability to navigate the political landscape, policy matters and advocacy.
Relevant tertiary qualifications required.
