A children's mental health charity, KidsXpress helps to transform the lives of children impacted by adversity. We deliver trauma-informed Expressive Therapy to children under the age of 12yrs and Education Services for those that care for them.

About the role

KidsXpress is experiencing an exciting growth phase and is looking for a motivated and highly-organised individual to join our marketing team as a Grants Coordinator 2 days a week.

This is a rewarding and varied role with an organisation that has creativity at it’s core! You will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities and co-ordinating the grant application and acquittal process.

We’re seeking applications from both competent grant writers as well as those with some experience who are looking for an exciting opportunity to further develop their grant writing skills in a supportive and flexible team environment.

Essential criteria:

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience with grant writing for the charity sector
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritise work and resources
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret data and financial budgets for grant and acquittal purposes
  • Desktop publishing skills for designing effective proposals (desirable)
  • Experience with Salesforce (desirable)

Prior to commencement of employment, you will also need to provide a WWCC number as evidence of Working with Children Check and National Police history Check.
