We need you to join our International Programs Project and Awards Team to support our expanding Green Climate Fund (GCF) portfolio.

Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based anywhere in Australia/Pacific, you will be part of our International Programs Department and report to our Head of Awards. You will work closely with the GCF Project Management System Lead, Country and Regional Offices and other Save the Children Members to support a growing climate change team to develop and deliver new projects, systems and processes for our GCF account management. You will ensure award information is captured and compliance requirements are met.

You will make an impact by:

  • Assisting development of a GCF project assurance methodology to maintain key controls and donor compliance
  • Ensuring data in the Award Management System (AMS) is accurate at all times
  • Undertaking timely analysis and performance reporting
  • Monitoring project implementation, budgets, partnership management and risk
  • Liaising effectively with Country and Member Offices, Support Services, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting the GCF Account Group’s day-to-day operations

This role requires:

  • A track record of experience with project and financial management of grant-funded programs
  • Ability to identify and manage organisational and operational risks
  • Highly developed organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft suite of programs and databases
  • Experience working with AMS and/or in the international sector is desirable
