Good Things Foundation Australia is a social change charity that supports socially excluded people to improve their lives through providing local digital inclusion support. We strive to ensure the digital divide is acknowledged by decision-makers and raise the voices of those who are digitally excluded.
We do this by building capacity in community organisations through specialised training packages, grants and program support, and work with partners in government and business to develop programs that make a real impact in people's lives.
About the role

We’re seeking someone who is passionate, experienced and driven to make social change, through the development and delivery of high quality social impact programs to help us improve digital inclusion across the country.
Leading a small, diverse and passionate team and working closely with the CEO and broader Australian team, the Director of Digital Inclusion Programs is responsible for ensuring high quality program delivery (including grants management), evaluation and reporting across our national digital inclusion programs.
You will build and maintain strong partnerships with collaborative delivery partners and lead the ongoing support and engagement of our network of 3500 community partners to deliver digital inclusion programs in their local communities all over the country.
This role is full-time and based in Sydney’s CBD with some work from home options available.
The right person for this position will have:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex, large-scale programs in the community sector that create positive social impact
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop practical business models that drive success and support long term sustainability
- Proven success in developing positive and impactful collaborative partnerships
- Demonstrated experience in influencing senior stakeholders and government policy at a national, state and/or local level
- Demonstrated understanding of social impact measurement and ability to lead development and delivery of evaluation of programs
- Understanding of and experience in grant program management
- Adept at fostering effective strategies and stakeholder relationships that build brand and positive reputation
- Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver high quality programs that deliver positive social impact
- Demonstrated experience in delivering impactful presentations and a confident public speaker
- Commitment to social justice and the pursuit of positive social impact
- Minimum 10+ years developing and leading strategic and operational planning
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience effectively leading, building, directing and motivating teams, including leading through change.
