At Primacy Group Australia, our focus is on providing high-quality disability support services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our mission is to radically change the way that we support participants through delivering respectful social and community support services.  We are currently looking for a full-time People & Culture Manager to contribute to our growing team in our Cranbourne based National Office.

About the role

About You:

You will hold a tertiary qualification or have equivalent work experience in Human Resource Management as well as having at least 5 years of experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in the community services sector.

You will have extensive expertise with IR/ER, Fair Work and interpreting the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award and sector related EBAs. You will also have a proven ability to effectively plan and facilitate organisational change, implement, and manage HRIS and pay systems and be able to manoeuvre comfortably through policy, process and people-related organisational dynamics.
 

Your key responsibilities while undertaking this role will include:

  • Integrating and aligning P&C strategy with Primacy Group’s broader organisational strategic and operational objectives
  • Supporting operational effectiveness and efficiency in P&C systems, processes, and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, accurate records and high-quality reporting that equips managers with the business information required to make quality decisions
  • Ensuring training reviews meet training standards and are fit for purpose, collaborating with managers in building an annual L&D calendar
  • Utilising data and evidence to identify emerging trends in the sector and design and implement programs, policy, and systems to address workforce strategies
  • Develop and implement annual People & Culture operational plans and budgets
  • Establishing recruitment practices and strategies that attract, develop, and retain the talent required to achieve Primacy Group’s workforce profile and performance
  • Developing and implementing strategies to build organisational capability and delivery of quality outcomes, including succession plans for key roles
  • Establishing talent development strategies to build capability and support professional development of the current workforce as well as overseeing performance management
  • Developing workforce planning strategies to support capacity building in support of rostering to demand 
  • Designing organizational development initiatives to align culture, leadership, and the employee experience to brand 
  • Building effective relationships across Primacy Group and with key external stakeholders including government, unions, and sector partners to deliver on organisational outcomes
  • Ensure that wellbeing initiatives are effectively embedded into both strategy and operations
  • Developing a trusted and respectful working relationship with the senior leaders, providing strategic advice on potential opportunities and risks to the organisation in relation to People & Culture matters
     

You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and sound understanding of the principles of various facets HR functions.
