The organisation:

BudgetNet was established in July 2016 originally designed to assist people to take control of their budgets and cash flow. After supporting someone in WA living with a disability, BudgetNet began navigating the NDIS and realised an opportunity to have a greater impact on people’s lives. In August 2017 BudgetNet was registered to provide plan management services in Victoria. Since then they  have grown significantly and aim to provide consistent and transparent plan management services nationwide.

  
The role:

The National Business Development Manager (NBDM) is responsible for leading sustainable growth, team  buy-in and client engagement in line with BudgetNet’s mission and values. Reporting to the General Manager  the NBDM is responsible for the efficiency and sustainable growth and sales lead strategy of the business.

  
Reporting to the GM the National Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership to BDMs, setting sales targets and monitoring their achievement
  • Cost/benefit analysis of events, including expos to assess future decision making
  • Conducting regular team meetings and contribute to BLT
  • Overall responsibility for direction of marketing activities and outbound communications
  • Generating new leads by expanding into new markets
  • Managing an annual budget to use towards marketing, sponsorship and other opportunities to grow our brand
  • Understanding national trends and act on opportunities as they arise

The candidate:
You’ll be driven and show genuine passion for building capability within your team. In addition, you will offer:

  • Leadership and culture development particularly with remote team management
  • A strong understanding of sector specific business development and performance management tools
  • Strong HR focus in supporting staff through growth initiatives
  • A strong work ethic, attendance and punctuality
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Proven skill in strategic sales analysis
The offer:
The National Business Development Manager position is offered on a permanent basis at a competitive salary plus superannuation, a company car with private use and a sales focused bonus.
