The Position
The Finance Business Partner reports to the Finance Business Partner Manager and works closely with the Management Team to provide advice and support.
The key responsibilities for this role are to:
- The preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets
- Monthly reporting with detailed analytics and commentary on the performance of the business with trend analysis to enable management to take decisive steps
- Ongoing evaluation of financial performance in conjunction with Senior Executives and Managers
- Assist various stakeholders with day-to-day queries
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting/ relevant professional qualification such as CPA/CA
- Proven experience in business partnering, management accounting, and reporting in an NFP environment
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and deferred income would be highly regarded
- Experience with the financial acquittal process and exposure to government funding at a Federal, State, and Local level
- Proven experience in process improvement and demonstrated change management skills
- Experience in Business Central, Jet Reporting or equivalent, and Magiq Software or similar ERP systems preferred
