The Role
As the General Manager – Program Impact and Transformation you sit at an Executive level and are responsible for leading the successful delivery of Teach For Australia’s rapidly growing, flagship teaching and leadership development program, whilst executing the necessary transformation of this program to achieve greater scale and impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strengthening and reviewing the foundations of TFA’s delivery framework
- Building new ways of working and delivering (internally & through partnerships) to serve TFA into the future
- Ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion is supported in both program and team operations
- Leveraging synergies and efficiencies to maximize impact and financial sustainability
Skills Required
To take TFA into the next decade of scale, influence and impact, you are currently in a comparable senior role with oversight of management practices and responsibility for a range of complex operational functions.
You have held leadership roles in multi-disciplined delivery environments where you have implemented transformational change and are comfortable working through ambiguity. You have driven organisational strategy, culture, and impact in or with education institutions, leading charities or values driven commercial organisations.
Importantly, you will show:
- A passion for addressing education inequity and enhancing social justice
- An ability to lead change by leading through others
- Experience in identifying and implementing new services aligned to organisational goals
- A genuine interest in developing people, employee wellbeing and promoting a positive and ethical equitable working environment
