About the role
The Heart Foundation have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Supporter Relations Coordinator to join our dedicated, ‘supporter-centric’ team and provide prompt, professional customer service to our donors and the general public.
Working from our Sydney office (with working from home opportunities), a day in the life of a Supporter Relations Coordinator may include:
- Enthusiastically responding to a range of queries from our donors and the public via phone and email
- Maintaining detailed and accurate call records
- Ensuring the accurate input and maintenance of supporter data in our systems
- Managing and escalating feedback from supporters to internal stakeholders
- Processing online, mail and telephone donations, including banking and receipting
- Assisting the Team Leader with the regular processes related to programs including online donations, Jump Rope for Heart and regular giving
- Ensuring compliance with policy, procedures, and relevant privacy legislation
- Learning more about the Heart Foundation to confidently assist our donors and supporters
This role will typically work standard business hours, between 9am and 5pm.

About you
We’d love to find someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience to join our team:
- Exceptional phone manner, with experience in a call centre or phone-based customer service.
- Ability to work with a range of diverse stakeholders
- Ability to effectively contribute to a small, ‘supporter-centric’ team, but equally able to work independently to use initiative and solve problems
- Experience in the use of a CRM (Raiser’s Edge or similar) and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
