About the organisation
NSW Trustee & Guardian protects, promotes and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW. The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer-centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state’s most vulnerable. We do this by providing a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-making, estate planning, executorship, trustee, financial management and guardianship services.
We write more than 13,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 49,000 customers annually and manage over seven billion dollars in customer assets. A NSW government agency within the Stronger Communities Cluster, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.
About the role
- 1x ongoing Full-time opportunity (35 hours per week)

Provide professional paralegal and administrative support to the practice group’s solicitors to contribute to and support the provision of effective and efficient legal services to NSWTG and its customers.

About You
Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and works well in a team. You are resilient, and able to manage multiple competing priorities to agreed standards, budgets and timeframes.
You’ll have experience providing a range of administrative support to solicitors, as well as carrying out registry and document searches, undertaking legal research and preparing written documents, such as correspondence, and administrative tasks including setting up pleadings and affidavits and Court orders for Solicitors to complete, and prepare reports including case summaries and analysis.
