The Organisation
Our client is an innovative Not for Profit organisation and one of Australia’s largest peak bodies with a large focus on training, development, and advocacy across the sector.
The Position
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Corporate Services, the Project Coordinator will lead, with the assistance of a Project Officer, and have oversight over, a diverse range of key projects from strategic to operational.
The Project Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring project fundamentals are adhered to, taking into account timelines, budget, risks, issues, and resourcing
- Manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously, the ability to prioritise and deal with competing priorities, engaging with key stakeholders on project statuses
- Provide project coaching and support across the organisation
- Employ effective project management methods to ensure the organisation follows a standard for all projects, particularly strategic projects
- Provide the Executive Management team with a view of program portfolio held projects and activities across all divisions to allow for appropriate decision making
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant professional project certifications (e.g. PMP, RegPM, PRINCE2, SCRUM, MSP)
- Hands-on project management experience delivering multiple end-to-end projects simultaneously
- Competent understanding and utilisation of project management software i.e Smartsheet
- Strong leadership qualities and strong negotiating skills
