About the role

This role is your opportunity to join a progressive organisation and great team at Victoria’s largest LGBTIQ+ community-controlled health service. Thorne Harbour Health is seeking a skilled Senior Clinician to lead our Intake and Assessment team and work to enhance the health and wellbeing of members of the LGBTIQ+ community and people living with HIV.

The Senior Clinician, Intake and Assessment manages the centralised intake and assessment service for our family violence, AOD and counselling programs. The role requires transferrable, trauma-informed intake, assessment and brief intervention skills and experience. Ideally, applicants will have a background in therapeutic counselling, AOD and/or family violence.

The successful applicant will contribute to the provision of evidence-based, responsive and client-centred intake, assessment and care planning, as well as ensuring service accessibility through maintaining strong working relationships with referring organisations.
