THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sydney Swans Foundation are accepting applications from suitably experienced individuals for the position of Fundraising Coordinator. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a range of fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, retention programs and stakeholder communications.
We encourage applications from candidates who are available on a full-time or part-time (3+ days) basis.
This role will be responsible for:
- Building high quality relationships with existing and new donors
- Assisting the planning and implementation of fundraising events and campaigns
- Database and administration management of Foundation stakeholders
- Ensuring that brand principles and guidelines are adopted in all fundraising campaigns
- Contributing to proposal development, meeting set-up and relationship management of key prospects
THE RIGHT PERSON
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fundraising, marketing, relationship management and/or administration role.
- Interest in being part of the success of the Sydney Swans philanthropic giving programs.
- Competent database and CRM management skills, ideally Salesforce.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite.
- High attention to detail and ability to coordinate across departments to deliver outcomes.
- Result-driven with positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Due to the nature of the industry, the ideal candidate must be flexible in their availability as extended hours and weekend work will be required for this role.
