About the Role

 

 

The ParentsNext Team Leader is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to SSI’s ParentsNext sites, managing ParentsNext contracts at site level, overseeing teams of ParentsNext Facilitators, ensuring job seekers’ needs and expectations are being met in line with customer experience standards and contractual obligations under the ParentsNext program, as well as liaising regularly with key stakeholders, employers, government departments, and managing and maintaining community relationships.

 

 

The ParentsNext Team Leader is responsible for job seeker caseload and caseload allocations at a site level. The ParentsNext Team Leader is also expected to carry a small caseload and assist with post placement support activities to assist with workforce or individual site needs as and when required.

 

 

Selection Criteria

     * Certificate IV in Employment Services, Career Development, Disability Services, or other similar qualification, desirable or be willing to work towards.

     * The ability to motivate, lead and manage a team to deliver high quality customer service and to deliver on and achieve outcomes.

     * Experience interacting with job seekers both in groups and in one-on-one settings.

     * Customer centric approach and the ability to work towards customer service standards, KPIs, and targets.

     * The ability to show empathy to job seekers and clients.

     * Good working knowledge of local, state and national labour markets.

     * Proven business development, sales or marketing ability including excellent communication skills, high level negotiation skills, and persuasive ability.

     * Strong ethics, accountability, and integrity.
