About the role

  • Forensic Disability Services, Statewide Disability Services, Statewide Services
  • Group – Location Flexible – Salary: $129,379 – $173,138 + Superannuation
  • Full-time (76 hours per fortnight). Fixed term until 30/06/2024

 

The Manager, Service and Practice Development works across Forensic Disability Services (FDS), and with our community and sector partners and stakeholders, to ensure that FDS services and practice are contemporary, effective, accessible and client-focused to address the complexity of needs of people with cognitive disability interacting with the criminal justice system. 

The role is responsible for leading and overseeing the development of evidence-based practice and services in FDS and will further strengthen relationships across complex needs coordination programs, as well as justice, disability mental health and other services and systems. 

The role will be responsible for working with the operations support and policy teams to continuously ensure that practices and processes meet our legislative responsibilities and are contemporary in their delivery.  

 

Accountabilities Include

  1. Provide effective input into forensic disability practice and service delivery as an authoritative source of critical advice to address complex and forensic needs.
  2. Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practice across FDS.
  3. Manage critical outcome data and information across FDS to ensure effective evaluation of practice
