The Organisation:

Our client’s mission is to take active leadership and an influential role in providing essential programs and services that strengthen the lives of those impacted by family violence in the community.

The Role:
The Sector & Community Manager will lead the team to develop, implement and maintain the unit’s Learning and Development training arm, building capabilities projects and initiatives, and multicultural communities’ engagement. Driving the unit’s financial growth and sustainability to maintain existing initiatives and seek new business development opportunities.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Strategically lead the team to develop, market, and implement high-quality products, Learning and Development curriculum, training, and resources to advance existing and create new opportunities for the organisation.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally such as specialist family violence services, multicultural organisations, government and academia.
  • Be accountable for the implementation of end-to-end contract management and reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals to funders and stakeholders, including grant programs, tenders, and fees for services.
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Tertiary or post-graduate qualification in community development, social work, education or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated program management practical experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating complex programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing business development, including driving new funding and business opportunities, products, grants, and submissions.
  • People leadership experience.
The Offer:
A salary package of $108K plus superannuation is on offer, commensurate with experience, along with attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging and 5 weeks of annual leave.
