About the organisation
Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is a publicly funded health service in Mildura Victoria, 550 Kilometres north-west of Melbourne. SCHS is recognised as a dynamic organisation which promotes health, wellbeing and independence in a social model of health to prevent illness, disease and injury. Influencing the agenda for health policy, providing access and equity to health services for their community and encouraging innovation and flexibility to ensure services match community need is a priority. They are now seeking a to recruit a high calibre and performance driven health professional with strong financial management skills to lead the team.
About the role
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide high level executive leadership, operational management and direction towards the achievement of SCHS Vision, Priorities, Objectives and Strategic Directions. The CEO is also responsible for ensuring that the organisation maintains an excellent reputation, meets statutory regulations and promotes the general health of the population by developing highly integrated and financially sustainable services. A focus on maintaining effective partnerships is a priority, along with being able to advocate for, market and promote the organisation.
To be considered for this role, you will have extensive professional experience with significant leadership accomplishments within the health or not for profit sector. A strong financial acumen along with a proven ability to develop and execute strategy is essential. You will also hold relevant tertiary qualifications, and have extensive knowledge of the current trends affecting the Australian Healthcare System.
