Electorate Officer (Holiday Support Casual)

If you’re interested in grassroots politics and community organizing, and enjoy solving people’s problems, then you could be a good fit for the casual position of Electorate Officer (Holiday Support  Casual). 

We are looking for a person who loves South Australia, and who is passionate about community advocacy and campaigns. You will need to be a good team player with strong written and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn campaign and content creation skills. 

The Role includes:  

• Supporting the implementaioon of a community engagement plan 
• Assisting with community events, functions, forums and meetings 
• A proactive approach to community outreach 
• Supporting the Communications and Media Officer with content development
•  Digital and graphic content creation skills, or a willingness to learn 
• Assistance with office administrative tasks 
• Other duties as directed. 

Renumeration based on the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise Agreement  2020-2023 will be payable to the successful candidates. 

All staff will be employed under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984. Conditions of employment are governed by the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise  Agreement 2020-2023.
