Catalyst Education is a specialist provider of training and education in the early childhood education, aged care and disability care sectors delivering through three nationally recognised and highly regarded Registered Training Organisations – Selmar Institute of Education, Royal College of Health and Practical Outcomes.  We are one of Australia’s largest private vocational training providers with more than 3,500 active students in Victoria and New South Wales.

We enable our learners to develop relevant flexible and hands on education and training taught by highly skilled and experienced sector professionals, resulting in real and lasting change for learners – and society.

We are now seeking a dynamic and progressive Chief Executive Officer to provide purposeful leadership, management capability and vision.  In 2021 For Purpose Investment Partners, a leading social impact investor in Australia, acquired Catalyst Education, and has been working in partnership with the organisation to grow and deliver long-term positive social outcomes through training.  With Catalyst Education now poised for growth into existing and new markets, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader willing to embrace the changing and complex nature of the VET sector.

The successful applicant will deliver an innovative growth strategy, which ensures learners aspiring for careers in the caring workforce are equipped with the skills and applied knowledge for now and the future. The sectors for which we train are expected to grow significantly driven by demographic trends, workforce demand and other societal influences.

VET sector experience is preferrable but not essential for this role.
