    TaylorCare Recruitment is proud to partner with a Not for Profit to recruit an experienced Service Manager within Disability and specialist knowledge or experience in Out of Home Care where you will join the team as Disability Service Manager where you will lead a team of staff overseeing 3 SIL homes to make an Impact in the lives of participants in SIL & SDA homes who have come out of the OOHC child protection system impacted by physical and psycho social disability.
        
    Competitive salary package Salary range $95k – $110K + super + salary packaging.

    Locations Available a Sydney – Sutherland region

       

    Work for a large Not-for-Profit Organisation who provide that services people with physical and psychosocial disability since the 1950s and they are also a registered NDIS provider offering integrated clinical, health, social and disability services in accommodation, community participation, supported employment and support coordination services in the Greater Sydney and in Northern Rivers regions in NSW.

    As the Disability Service Manager, you Oversee service delivery and the implementation of individual client’s NDIS plan. You will have a trauma informed training & approach to working with participants. the interactions and reporting requirements of the Department Community & Justice & ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory and funding bodies, across the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission, Department of Community and Justice and Office of the Children Guardian. Proactively manage and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, and other supporting stakeholders.

    About you

    • Ability to understand business and financial drivers of a disability service and apply them to a supported independent living model.
    • Strong understanding of Trauma informed background and understanding of OOHC, Child Protection OCG, with understanding of NDIS – SIL & SDA models, understanding of Health.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing services within the disability sector or similar organisation.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Disability, Health, Nursing, or another related field.
    • Able to obtain a clean Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
    • Flexible with travelling due to offsite meetings.
