The Organisation:
Nadrasca is a Registered NDIS Provider. Its purpose is to establish and develop a range of services for people with a disability. Nadrasca provides services including, but not limited to, the areas of employment, independent living skills, community integration, education, leisure, and recreation. The Role:
The Manager Community Living (MCL) is responsible for the  delivery of high- quality supported living services and the leadership, management support of seven Supported Independent Living (SIL) shared homes for 29 residents and outreach support to 19 tenants at 5 sites, located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  
The position will spend considerable time at the houses ensuring services are delivered in a manner consistent with person centred active support, positive behaviour support, and Nadrasca’s policies and procedures. 
Reporting to the General Manager, Community – you will:
  • Bring a demonstrated focus on quality and safety and a commitment to high standards of support to residents and their families 
  • Deliver sound people management and communication skills
  • Be well-versed in NDIS billing and have proven financial management  skills
  • Possess sound knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards, relevant to disability and the  workplace. 
  • Offer detailed practice knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme including the current  Price Guide, particularly as it relates to living supports and billing arrangements
  • Influence a range of stakeholders individually and in group settings,  including residents, families, other providers, external bodies, and staff at all levels of the  organisation 
  •  A collaborative management style and the ability to establish effective working relationships  
  • Be able to monitor operational performance  
  • Possess an openness to professional growth and development, capacity, and willingness to reflect on own  learning and receive and provide constructive feedback.

  • have a positive track record supporting people with complex presentations including intellectual disabilities, complex health and physical disabilities 
  • possess an Advanced Diploma Community Sector Management or Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability) preferred, or, Certificate IV Disability and equivalent sector experience
  • Are experienced in leading a team and supervising the work of others
  • possess a current Victorian Driver’s License
