The organisation
Lifestart is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of programs and services for children and young people living with disability, as well as their families and carers, with the aim of helping them live their lives to their fullest potential through increased social inclusion and participation.
  
Lifestart offers a range of specialised support streams which include registered NDIS Provider providing therapy and other supports for children and young people aged 0-24, as well as Early Childhood Partner for Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI).
  
The position
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will be responsible for strategically leading the design, development, implementation and facilitation of organisational wide initiatives across strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, talent and performance management and learning and development.
  
About you
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

  • The capability to develop long-term talent, leadership and organisational strategies that align with Lifestart’s organisational goals;
  • Proven expertise in attracting diverse talent through cutting-edge methods, proficiency in leveraging analytics for talent insights and creating talent programs, career paths, and attractive employer branding;
  • A strong track record in developing leaders at all levels, driving growth and change and able to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage stakeholders effectively and dedicated to fostering an inclusive, diverse workforce;
  • NGO or corporate experience, and have led an organisational development function; and
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or similar.

This role is based in the Rhodes Head Office and includes flexible working conditions.
