Your role

In joining our team, you will play a crucial part in enhancing outcomes for children, young people, and their families. This involves delivering evidence-based and outcome-focused interventions to families facing vulnerability. You’ll also focus on building trust and cultivating positive, strong therapeutic relationships with clients, primarily through outreach-based support. Additionally, you’ll actively participate in strength-based family assessments, client-led case planning, and coaching methods.

 

What’s needed for your success

  • Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Child and family Social Welfare or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge in child and family services, family violence, AOD, mental health and/or disability services.
  • You understand the impact of trauma and family violence on families and have the ability to apply a gendered family violence lens when working with clients.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
