The Organisation:
The Role:
Your role will be to oversee the following:
- Coordinate the entry and exit of participants from SDA dwelling in conjunction with other relevant service providers
- Assist in providing orientation to new dwellings for residents and SIL providers/staff
- Provide process information and manage maintenance/repair work to properties e.g.scheduling, safe entry of trades people, relocation, access
- Notify Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) of new Residency Agreements and notices to end SDA residency where required.
- Manage all Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) interactions and notifications.
- Working closely with the Relationship and Engagement Team to manage transitions
- Preparing and delivering SDA Residency Agreements
- Organise funding gap claims when vacancies arise
- Working with the Relationship and engagement team to fill portfolio vacancies as and when they arise
- Manage Reasonable Rent Contribution (RRC) claiming
- Management of CMS – participant documentation, incident report collection, review, and upload
- Coordination, execution, and management of annual satisfaction surveys.
- Be the key point of contact for SDA residents and SIL Providers/Support Staff
- Respond to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries within set timeframes and promptly/address complaints and questions
- Manage tenancies to high standards in accordance with requirements as an SDA Provider
- Collate, manage and process all property outgoings, including insurances and rates
- Disbursing funds received to owners and periodic reporting in line with management agreements.
The Person:

- have an understanding of residential tenancy law, contractual and internal policy, practice and reporting requirements in the sector
- enjoy working with a high performing group of colleagues and peers and accept responsibility and accountability
- are an articulate, clear communicator with a high level of literacy
- possess a high level of integrity, passion and reliability
- Experience in managing an established SDA portfolio or community / social housing portfolio
- Experience with Property Me software preferable
- Sound knowledge of NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation preferable
- Experience in Client Management Systems
- Customer service and time management skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Critical thinker and a problem solver.
