The Organisation:
Nadrasca is a Registered NDIS Provider. Its purpose is to establish and develop a range of services for people with a disability. Nadrasca provides services including, but not limited to, the areas of employment, independent living skills, community integration, education, leisure, and recreation. Nadrasca is a values-based organisation which promotes a trustworthy, caring, respectful and supportive service. Nadrasca aims to provide the highest quality of service to the people it supports.

The Role:
The House Supervisor is responsible for planning and leading support for people with disabilities within their home and in the community to enable them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. House Supervisors lead a team of support workers responsible for maintaining an environment that empowers people with a disability. 

Reporting to the Manager, Community Living – you will:
  • Ensure support to residents is delivered in a manner consistent with person-centred active support, positive behaviour support, and Nadrasca’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all staff are familiar with each resident’s support goals, and agreed plans are consistently implemented, monitored and reviewed with relevant internal and external staff
  • Create strong collaborative working relationships with participants and their support networks and regularly seek feedback from participants, families, and relevant others
  • Build and maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment
  • Ensure residents are supported to lead healthy and active lives including access to health care, support services and the community
  • Ensure that accurate and up to date health records are maintained for all residents
  • Understand and follow internal and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding incident reporting requirements
  • Assist the Manager, Community Living in conducting regular operational and functional audits, as required
  • Participate in rostered on call duties

The Person:

  • possess a high level of integrity, passion and reliability
  • are an advocate for independence 
  • have a positive track record supporting people with complex presentations including intellectual disabilities, complex health and physical disabilities 
  • possess an Advanced Diploma Community Sector Management or Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability)
  • preferred, or, Certificate IV Disability and equivalent sector experience
  • are experienced in leading a team and supervising the work of others
  • possess a current Victorian Driver’s License

The Offer:
The House Supervisor positions are offered on a permanent, Part-Time basis at a competitive salary plus superannuation. In addition, you will be able to access attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging.
